Emergent Collective One Community CD Released

As covered by Vicky last month, Joseph Labrecque of Fractured Vision Media has been working very hard on a community compilation CD project titled; “Emergent Collective One”. The goal of the project has been to bring together original musical compositions made by members of the development community. Joseph recognised the diverse amount of talent that seems to exist within this group and wanted to capture some of it in the form of a totally community driven audio CD.

The response to his request for submissions was fantastic and the end result is something really rather special.

Emergent Collective One has just been released and is available in CDDA format (for burning directly to CD), 320kbs mp3 format and high quality on-line streaming. Joseph has created a superb downloadable high-resolution booklet in PDF format which covers the artists featured on the compilation.

What Joseph has achieved with this project is incredible. The quality, not only in the music but also in the planning, organisation, CD production and booklet authoring is truly inspirational. Highly recommended!

I had the great pleasure of being involved in this project and provided the opening ‘introduction’ vocal track.
